Who We Are & What We Do

What started out as a school project for founder Dawn Poole has grown into a movement. Using different social media platforms, Vision For Reform wants to educate, inform, and involve everyday citizens and prove that community engagement and involvement in criminal justice reform issues works to make the necessary changes to the world around us.

Dawn Poole

Founder

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dawn Poole moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in March of 2016. She decided to go back to college in 2017. In 2021 she graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Bay Path University. Because of a school project, Vision For Reform became a reality. It started as a Facebook page and has grown to include Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube, and this website. The past political climate and Black Lives Matter caused Dawn to re-evaluate what she wanted to do with her degree. Advocacy and activism are where her heart is!
